A Home In The Heartland

I found this on Martha Stewart and it is the home of Heidi Posner who lives in Madison, Wisconsin. She is a designer, editor, and painter who can "make art from anything". Balls of wool, for Posner's knitting, sometimes serve as decorative objects. If they look good in a bowl, she jokes, they'll probably never become a sweater.

I personally love the clean, crisp style as well as the subtle pallet mixed with few items that add a bit of "punch".

Design Inspiration

"Advertising art director Al Davis's home was originally three flats, but thanks to his skill and vision he has restored to Regency splendour, with some clever 21st-century twists."
